THE ART OF BREAKING GROUND: ART SHOPPE LOFTS + CONDOS DOES IT IN STYLE
After becoming 95% sold in record time and being recognized as BILD’s 2016 Project of the Year, Art Shoppe Lofts + Condos
has officially celebrated their ground breaking.
On Tuesday, September 20th, at an event for special guests, and select media, Freed Developments and Capital Developments
broke ground on the design-driven condominium. Complete with custom hard hats and shovels, and a trendy menu from
the Fidel Gastro’s food truck, the afternoon went off without a hitch!
The development will feature a 28-storey tower on the north side of the property stepping down to a 12 storey mid-rise building
of lofts to the south. The residential lobbies will be designed by international style icon, Karl Lagerfeld.
In addition to the lobbies by Karl Lagerfeld, the building offers an array of amenities including 24-hour concierge, a relaxed
courtyard overlooked by a two-storey fitness centre; a dedicated indoor/outdoor yoga room and juice bar; a professionally
designed party room with chef’s kitchen, bar, dining area and lounge.
Stretching an entire city block on Toronto’s iconic Yonge Street, the Art Shoppe Lofts + Condos also recently experienced an
artistic transformation when its construction hoarding became a public exhibit featuring the work of renowned artist, Chikonzero Chazunguza.
Art Shoppe Lofts + Condos is now 95% sold, with just a few select suites remaining.
